More than a wedding app

One ledger for every celebration.

Riti does not treat each event like a fresh spreadsheet. What you build around one celebration — the money, the people, the history — carries straight into the next one, for as long as your household keeps hosting.

The family

Budgets, vendor payments and the gifts you were given move with you from one celebration to the next — with the guest list and photos alongside them.

The business

Every booking of the season in one ledger — and the family who hired you for the wedding is already in it when they call about the housewarming.

Riti household dashboard: celebration budget, vendor payments, gift-money ledger and RSVPs in one view

The Riti flow

From ritual to record — every rupee, dollar and dirham accounted for.

The page moves like the product works: one family moment becomes a clear budget, a settled ledger, a shareable hub, and a record you can still read years later.

We're there for every beautiful moment.

01

Set the budget

Dates, vendors, family tasks and what you plan to spend start as one shared household plan, in your own currency.

02

Track every payment out

Each vendor deposit, instalment and final settlement logged as it goes — so the balance still owed, and the date it falls due, are never a guess.

03

Count every gift in

The cash and gold guests bring — every shagun and moi cover — captured by voice or a tap, before the queue at the door moves on.

04

Share the family hub

The public event page, RSVPs, gift notes, photos and share-ready updates — for everyone you invited.

05

Keep the numbers useful

Exports, reciprocity and vendor history stay ready for the next celebration: what this one really cost, and what each family gave.

06

Both sides of the same celebration

When the photographer you booked runs on Riti Business, your deposit is their received payment and your balance is their due. One celebration, one set of numbers, two people who trust it.

Why households choose Riti

Four things every household already does badly. Now in one ledger.

Swipe →

01 · Gift-money ledger

Every gift, counted at the door.

Every family keeps a notebook of who gave what, because the next wedding depends on it. Riti is that notebook. Each shagun or moi cover is logged as it lands — cash, cheque, transfer or gold — the arithmetic is already done, and the whole ledger exports the day after while relatives are still asking.

  • Cash, cheque, transfer or gold — in any supported currency
  • Voice entry in six languages, or one tap to type
  • Reciprocity: what they gave you, ready for the next event

02 · Every event, sequenced

Rehearsal to reception — one timeline, one budget.

A wedding is never one day. Nichayathartham, mehndi, sangeet, muhurtham, reception — each function gets its own budget, ledger and checklist, nested under the one wedding. The household sees what every function cost and what the whole thing came to.

  • Every sub-event nested under one celebration
  • Its own budget, ledger and checklist per event
  • Shared with up to six family members

03 · Public event hub

One link, and everyone you invited knows.

ritiapp.com/family/yourname — a public page holding the date, the venue, the dress code, RSVPs, a gift note and a photo gallery that keeps growing. Share it once in the family group; relatives still find the URL years later.

  • Live RSVPs you can tally any time
  • Photo gallery grows after the celebration
  • One link, shareable in a tap

04 · Vendors, budget & balances

Photographer, caterer, florist — every payment settled.

Track every vendor, every deposit, every instalment and every final payment, against the budget you set. What is still owed, and the date it falls due, is a number on the screen rather than a thing you hope someone remembers. A clean ledger you can hand to whoever asks where the money went.

  • Per-vendor deposit / instalment / final ledger
  • Budget by category, watched against actual spend
  • Spent against gifted — the true net cost of the day

For event businesses across India

Photographers, venues, planners — run the whole season from your phone.

Bookings, deposits, balances, quotes, invoices and business expenses in one place — with a nudge before a payment goes late. Works from your first day, on the bookings you already have, in your own currency.

How Riti works for businesses

Stop chasing your money on WhatsApp.

Every booking, every deposit, every business expense and every balance still owed — in one place, on your phone. Riti keeps the count and tells you the day something is due.

01

Log the booking

Client, event, date, venue, and what they agreed to pay, in whichever currency you invoice in. Bookings you won off Riti count exactly the same — this works from day one, with nothing waiting on us to send you business.

02

Riti does the arithmetic

Record each deposit as it lands, and log what the job cost you to deliver. Every balance, instalment, due date and margin is worked out from there, so the number you're looking at is always the real one.

03

Nothing slips past due

Riti nudges you the morning a payment is due — the amount, the client, and a WhatsApp message written and ready. You stay the one who presses send.

What's in the business toolkit

Built for how an event business actually runs.

Photographers, decorators, caterers, florists, venues and banquet halls, planners, DJs, makeup and mehendi artists — across India, and especially the ones still running the whole operation out of a diary and a chat scroll.

Bookings

Every event in one book

List and calendar views of every booking — client, venue, date, status. Search by name or phone. Bookings you won outside Riti sit right alongside the rest.

Payments

Advances and instalments

Split a booking into the instalments you actually agreed to. Record each payment as it lands and the balance keeps itself. Attach the screenshot as proof.

Reminders

A nudge before it's late

Riti tells you the morning a payment comes due, with a WhatsApp message drafted for the client. It reaches you, not them — you decide what goes out.

Quotes

Quotes they can accept

Build an itemised quote from your service list and send a link over WhatsApp. The client opens it on their phone and accepts — no PDF attachment nobody opens.

Invoices

Invoices and receipts

Raise a proper invoice straight from a booking, and a receipt for every payment taken — tax fields included where your market needs them. Export a statement as CSV or PDF for your accountant, by month or financial year.

Your team

Staff, without showing the money

Add your crew and assign them to events. Staff see the work they're on — never a client's phone number, never what anyone paid. You keep the books to yourself.

Start free

Riti never touches your money and never messages your clients on its own. You record what you choose to record.

Straight answers

What Riti is, and what it isn't.

Riti is an expense tracker for Indian functions. The guest page and the RSVPs are real, and they matter — but the ledger is the product, and it goes wherever your family does.

The notebook, replaced

Almost every Indian family keeps a notebook of who gave what, because the next wedding in the family depends on it. Riti is that notebook, with the arithmetic already done and nothing lost between functions.

  • ShagunNorth India
  • MoiTamil Nadu

Riti uses whichever word your family does.

What is Riti?

An expense, budget and gift-money tracker for Indian weddings and family functions. It holds what you spend, what you still owe and the shagun and moi guests give back — for families in India and across the US, the UK, the Gulf, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.

Is Riti only for families in India?

No. Indian families use Riti wherever they live, and the ledger formats in 9 currencies, so a wedding in New Jersey reads in dollars. What it is built around is the Indian function itself — muhurtham dates from a real panchangam, the shagun and moi ledger, and separate books for each side.

Is Riti only for weddings?

No. The same ledger runs engagements, seemantham and valaikappu, griha pravesh, upanayanam, cradle ceremonies, first birthdays, anniversaries and retirement parties. Every function a household hosts stays in one place, year after year.

What can I actually track in it?

Vendor quotes and contracts, advances and instalments, balances still owed with their due dates, and category budgets against actual spend. On the way in, the cash and gold guests give — so the true net cost of the function is a number you can see.

Does it handle a multi-day wedding with two sides?

Yes, and it is the part generic budget apps get wrong. Each function is its own event with its own budget, and each side keeps its own book — so two families can share a wedding without sharing a wallet.

Can several people in the family use one account?

Yes. Up to six family members share one household — the same events, the same budget, the same ledger. Nobody re-types numbers out of a group chat.

Which currencies does Riti work in?

INR, USD, GBP, EUR, AED, CAD, AUD, SGD, MYR. A household picks one and any single event can override it. Amounts are never converted between currencies, so a gift recorded abroad is never mixed into a total recorded at home.

Which languages can I dictate in?

Voice entry works in English, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada. It is the fastest way to clear a stack of shagun covers after a function. The rest of the app is in English.

Does Riti hold my money or message my guests?

No to both. Riti records what you tell it — it never holds, moves or takes a cut. And reminders come to you with a message already drafted; you decide what actually gets sent.

Still deciding? Ask us anything.
